Our UK and International shipments are shared between different carriers depending on their destination and the service selected. These carriers are currently DPD, DHL, UPS and Royal Mail.
Orders destined outside of the UK do not have an Express Shipping option on our website. If this affects you and you need your goods in a hurry Please LET US KNOW and we will do our best to speed your order through.
Typical dispatch time for orders placed on Regular or Other Non-Express shipping is usually estimated at 1 working day, however, this could still change after your order is placed.
EXPRESS (UK) orders, received before 12.00pm, are dispatched the same day.

Worldwide shipping costs automatically default to the correct shipping zone relevant to the delivery destination. Delivery times will vary depending on the service we send your shipment on. Most European destinations have a 2-3 day shipping time. Further worldwide destinations may be longer than this. Your International shipments can usually be tracked via the carriers website.
We ship all non-priority orders in order of receipt. At our busiest times we may be delayed in shipping your order by a few days.
If your order is urgent please select the relevant EXPRESS shipping option (UK Only), we will then prioritise it, again in order of receipt.
Our cut-off time for Express orders is 12:00 noon for same day dispatch (next-working-day delivery) – some exceptions may cause delay, for example: stock availability, bespoke or hand-made products. Express orders received after 12.00 noon will normally be shipped the following working-day.
If your order is large or heavy enough that it needs special shipping or shipping on a pallet then unfortunately we will need to ask for payment for this type of delivery.

Our Courier service ensures all our parcels are ‘tracked’ throughout their journey from us to you. However, some small orders that weigh under 2kg including packaging, where:
UK Standard (Mainland Weekdays) has been selected, can be sent via Royal Mail, signed for mail. Please note we are unable to track and trace this service.
UK Offshore (all other Islands & Northern Ireland) orders with a shipping charge of under £14.00 may also be shipped via Royal Mail, again, we are unable to track and trace this service.
UK Offshore (Channel Islands) orders weighing under 2kg may also be shipped via Royal Mail, again, we are unable to track and trace this service.
Please note for UK customers if your destination is in Scotland, Northern Island or other UK offshore destinations, your order could take 2 days for delivery from the date of dispatch, but if you experience a longer delay than this, we need to know in case there is a problem. Please use our Contact Us Page or this link to message us.
A guide to our standard UK Mainland tariff is:
001 – 100g – from £0.99 up to £ 4.25
101g- 499g – £4.25
500g – 2.0kg – £5.49
2.1 – 3.0kg – £5.99

Economy and Express Tariffs offer different charges and variations and may not be available to all UK destinations.
Please note these shipping charges are based on GROSS shipping weight, not NET weight. If you order 1kg of a product, the shipping charge will default to the next rate above 1kg to allow for packaging.
Some of the products we supply are considered Restricted Goods by Royal Mail and Carriers for shipping purposes. Most commonly these are our home fragrances although there are a few others. We regret that we are unable to ship these goods Internationally by Air and we only have ‘Limited Quantities By Road’ agreements with our carriers.

SPECIAL DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS:
If you (the customer) are unable to sign for your consignment and leave ‘Special Delivery Instructions’ for the carrier to leave your consignment in a ‘safe’ place, any loss or damage to the consignment is strictly your responsibility. No liability for the loss of, or damage to any such consignment can be accepted by Latherit or their appointed carrier.
LATE DELIVERY LIABILITY:
When our carriers are seasonally busy or during postal strikes, their workload can be such that delivery times are extended. For all delivery delays outside of our control due to our carriers or postal strikes we are unable to accept liability and are therefore unable to make any refund of shipping charges where we have incurred charges ourselves from either our carrier or Royal Mail.
If an item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. However, you can choose to cancel the item if you would rather not wait for the back order to be sent. We are usually happy to add further lightweight items to be shipped with a back-order without any additional shipping cost. However if the parcel weight increases significantly, the shipping cost will also increase; you will need to pay the extra cost.
If an item is not in stock we may not automatically back-order that item. We reserve the right to remove the item from your order and refund the cost of that item. If you would rather we back-order the item for shipping later, we will inform you if there will be any additional shipping cost and give you the option to reconsider. Latherit Ltd is not responsible for any duties or taxes levied by customs on any International delivery.
Our shipping charges are weight-based, not order value based. Regardless of the value of your order, shipping will be calculated based on weight, therefore inexpensive yet heavy products may appear expensive to ship.
REFUNDS FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
Please note that we are not able to refund any shipping charges, customs duty or local taxes which may be incurred by the shipment of an international order.
If you would like to place an order to ship to a BFPO address, we have to set a weight limit of 2kg (including packaging) per parcel.
We send BFPO parcels via Royal Mail.
